WHY IAL IS GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED

Pearson Edexcel International AS/A levels (IAL) use the popular and flexible modular approach* which means subjects are split into units and their respective examinations can be taken at the end of each unit of study, or throughout the program of study when a student feels prepared and ready, or all together at the end of the course of study.

*for all subjects except Law ( http://www.qualifications.pearson.com)

FLEXIBLE

There are series of examinations that are held in January, May/June, and October within the year, where the students have more opportunities to get feedback to improve their performance and the grade they need to progress. This flexibility builds up confidence in students to sit for the respective subject when the student is ready to face the examination.

Admissions – 2024

Applications are called from students who wish to study Pearson EDEXCEL Advanced level at Hillwood College commencing from June 2024.

Entrance Requirements

We accept applications under pending O/L results.

Selection of Subjects

It is compulsory for every student to take a minimum of 3 subjects as the universities will only expect students to have taken three subjects.

If a student wishes to study four subjects, she may do so as it will be an advantage; since applying to universities is competitive.

Students should be aware, however, that taking four subjects is a challenge involving a large amount of work requiring considerable determination, organization and motivation.
