Hillwood College is an independent private girls’ college which can be spotted on top of a tiny cliff encircling an astounding view of the Kandy city, in the Lake round, Victoria Drive.

The school is established by British Anglican Missionaries of Church of England, Zenana Missionary society in 1890. The school is managed by the Governing Body for Church Missionary Society in Ceylon.
Most of our students enter school at pre-school and continue to complete Advanced Level. We strive to nurture and develop the child not only academically but also in values of Christian ethos.

We are proud to foster girls of all races and religions to be nurtured and unleashed into the outer world and blend in as graceful intelligent ladies.
